You can help provide for animals in need, and provide critical training to personnel and volunteers. Funds are used for animal sheltering, animal food, medical support in the field, and specialized rescue equipment and training. LSART is a division of  Dr. Walter J. Ernst, Jr. Veterinary Memorial Foundation(WJE). WJE is the charitable arm of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. Donations can be designated for a specific disaster or use. The check memo or cover letter may designate disaster relief donation.
